Crew Edit
Only crew members that are credited in every single episode of a season for the same job should be added to the crew at a season level. For example, these crew members are credited in every single episode of the first season of Midnight, Texas.
Note
Please be very careful not to add duplicate credits. If a crew credit is already entered on an episodic level, do not re-add it on a season level, and vice versa.
It is preferred that directors and writers are entered at the episode level, even if they are credited in every episode.
Crew members that are not credited in every episode of a season for a specific job have to be added as episodic crew for each episode. For example, Derek Jensen was the art director for nine of the ten episodes of the first season of Midnight, Texas. You can see his credit for the fourth episode here.
The crew can be the same for every episode, be completely different or (most likely) be somewhere in between. Each series is different.
We recommend keeping the following things in mind while adding TV crew:
- Most Americans series have a different writer and director each episode.
- The crew of the pilot episode is often different from the crew used for the rest of the first season.
